The farmland of the manor house extends to over 600 acres and visitors can walk across the nearby fields and follow footpaths to some of the loveliest villages of the Isle of Purbeck

Here there is a two mile stretch of sand where swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed. The more lively small resort of Swange is also within a 15 minute drive where there is also a long sandy beach.
